1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Opintell platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Opintell reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Description of Service

Opintell is an AI-powered document analysis platform that allows users to upload, store, process, and query documents using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vector Databases. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

3. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer

Important: Our Service utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to process and analyze your documents. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI models are probabilistic and may occasionally generate incorrect, misleading, or fabricated information ("hallucinations").
• Opintell does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any answers, summaries, or insights provided by the AI.
• You are solely responsible for independently verifying all AI-generated outputs before relying on them for business, legal, financial, medical, or any other critical decisions.
• Opintell shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from your reliance on AI-generated content.

4. User Accounts and Security

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Opintell immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Opintell cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You retain all rights and ownership of the documents you upload to Opintell. However, by using the Service, you agree NOT to:

• Upload documents containing highly sensitive personal data (e.g., PHI, unredacted credit card numbers) unless specifically permitted by a separate enterprise agreement.
• Upload illegal, defamatory, obscene, or malicious content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Opintell infrastructure or AI models.
• Use the Service to build a competitive product or train competing machine learning models.

Opintell reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate this Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Data Privacy and Security

We employ industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data, which is securely stored via Cloudflare R2 and Supabase. While we strive to protect your personal information and documents, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Opintell is not liable for data breaches or unauthorized access resulting from factors outside our reasonable control.

7. Billing, Subscriptions, and Limits

Opintell offers both Free and Paid subscription tiers.

• Free Tier: Limited to specific document and query limits (e.g., 5 documents, 100 queries). Attempting to bypass these limits via multiple accounts is prohibited.
• Paid Tiers: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle. All fees are non-refundable unless legally required.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPINTELL AND ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE (INCLUDING AI OUTPUTS); AND (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of your applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
